Deric Augustine
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Deric Augustine is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Augustine’s Love Foundation, established to honor the memory of his late mother, Donna Augustine. Driven by the profound love for his mother and inspired by the resilience they shared during her battle with strokes, Deric founded the Foundation to support others facing similar hardships. His ultimate aim is to be a beacon of light and hope, providing the essential support and encouragement that he and his family once desperately needed, for those who need it now.
Deric Augustine was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, a city vibrant with culture and artistry that shaped his early interest in acting—an interest first sparked by his mother during his toddler years. He cultivated his passion on stage as a young theater actor and pursued higher education in theater at the University of New Orleans, proudly following in his mother’s footsteps.
After earning his degree, Deric moved to New York City to embark on his professional acting career, enriching his skills at the esteemed Negro Ensemble Company and William Esper Studio. His talent and dedication have led to roles in numerous high-profile TV and film projects, including "Criminal Minds," "The Vampire Diaries," "Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger," "Shameless," "Swagger," "All American," and "Godfather of Harlem," where he has the notable role of Muhammad Ali.
Beyond acting, Deric is an emerging author, with his debut book “Nawlins” soon to be published. He is also a co-founder and producer at Fleur De Lis Entertainment, where he is committed to bringing a diverse array of stories and documentaries to life.
